PANEER TIKKA! (A surprise in the end)

Hello everyone, hope you all are safe and healthy. It's been very long since I've posted a recipe. This recipe takes time, but, the results are more than amazing. I hope you enjoy the process:)))


INGREDIENTS :

• 400 gms of cottage cheese (cut into cubes)

• 1 red and green bell pepper (cut into cubes)

• 1 onion  (cut into cubes)

• 1 tbsp mustard oil

• 2 tbsp butter (melted)

• 4 tbsp cup hung curd

• 2 tbsp besan

• 2 tsp salt

• 1 tsp garam masala

• 1 tsp cumin powder

• 2 tsp Kashmiri chilly

• 1 tsp red chilly powder

• 1 tsp coriander powder

• 1 pinch of asafoetida (hing)

• 1 tsp dried mango powder

•  kasuri methi

• 1 tbsp Ginger garlic paste

• 1 tsp lemon juice 



Method :

1. First, we'll put the mustard oil and butter into a bowl and add in the Kashmiri chilly powder, red chilly powder, salt, dried mango powder, garam masala, kasuri methi, asafoetida, cumin powder, ginger garlic paste and mix.


2. Now, put in the hung curd, besan and lemon juice and mix.


3. Put the veggies and paneer into the marinate and mix gently (remember, gently)


4. Let them marinate for about 2 hours.


5. Set a sheet of foil in the air fryer and put the paneer and veggies in it. Set it at 200*C for 10-15 mins.


6. Tadaa it's ready! Serve it hot with the below mentioned dips and add ons!

Alternate method after marination:))
You can put the paneer and veggies alternatively in skewers. Keep them on the tawa or a tandoor and rotate the skewers from time to time. 

QUICK DIP :

1 tbsp mayonnaise
1 small onion ( finely chopped )
Lots of mint leaves
2 chillies (finely chopped)
A pinch of salt n pepper
1 tsp cumin powder
1 tsp oregano 
Mix everything up!
And it's done!

PICKLED ONIONS:)))

1 large onion (cut into rings) 
A pinch of salt and red chilly powder
1 tbsp Vinegar / lemon juice
Dip the onion rings into the vinegar + salt + chilly powder
Let them pickle for about half an hour and serve with piping hot paneer tikka!
